What’s a Hosel (pronounced “hō-zəl”) Rocket?
Simply put, a Hosel Rocket is slang for a bad golf shot or a “shank”. Specifically, a hosel rocket occurs when your ball strikes the hosel (the part of the club that connects the shaft to the club head) instead of the clubface. This usually results in the ball going wildly off course in a rocket-
like trajectory, endangering any golfer or wildlife in your general vicinity.
What simulators do you use?
Like everything else at Hosel Rockets, they are top of the line. So of course, we are utilizing Trackman’s newest technology, Trackman iO (indoor optimized).
Trackman iO combines radar, infrared and high-speed imaging to deliver real data (including measured 3D spin and spin axis) in real time. Trackman iO offers 4k high-definition graphics with more than 40 parameters for club and ball data, for the ultimate indoor golf experience.
And of course, utilizing the Trackman app during play at Hosel Rockets will allow any golfer to track their performance data over a period of time (say, during a winter league season) to see how they are progressing towards their goals on the course.

How/when can I book a tee time?
Soon (we hope)! But seriously, we are working hard to get our website finished which will have full online booking functionality for members/guests to book tee times well in advance of their rounds.

Do I need reservations?
Booking golf simulators in advance is encouraged. We will try to have walk-in availability, but it is not guaranteed during the busy season.
How many players per bay?
The simulator bays are designed with four being the ideal number of players, but we will allow up to six members/guests per bay. Obviously the pace of play will slow with more players on one simulator.
Groups over six must book two simulator bays.
Can I bring my own clubs?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your own set.
Do you have club rentals?
Yes, we will have sets available for rent. Details coming soon.
What if I’m not a golfer?
That’s totally fine! There are plenty of other offerings at Hosel Rockets. Enjoy catching sports on our sportsbook-style TV wall with two 200-inch projector screens, or sitting in our relaxed and welcoming lounge area. Grab a seat at our whisky bar to sip our premium craft cocktails and sample our delicious menu in our elegant and elevated atmosphere.
Hours of operation?
TBD at the moment. We will be able to provide our hours of operation well in advance of our firm opening that is planned for January 2025. At this point, you can assume that Hosel Rockets will be open from around lunch to midnight on a daily basis.

Our story began with five good friends seeking a high quality indoor golf and dining experience to complement their outdoor play. That goal quickly became a calling to elevate the indoor golf experience in Southeast Michigan and create a haven where golfers can escape the elements and immerse themselves in the game they love, year-round. But Hosel Rockets is more than just indoor golf; it’s a vibrant community, a gathering place where players of all levels come together to connect, compete, and grow while enjoying premium whiskey and cocktails and excellent food.
